What are the festival dates and opening times? When is last entry?

The Otherside St. Patrick’s Eve festival will take place on Sunday 16th March 2025. Gates open at 2pm, and the festival concludes at 11pm. Please ensure you arrive before the last entry time at 7pm.

Is there an age restriction for attending the festival?

Yes, attendees must be 19 or older to attend the Otherside Music Festival.

Is the event BYOB? Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No, bringing your own food and beverages, including alcohol, is not permitted within the festival grounds. A variety of food and drink options catering to different dietary requirements will be available on-site.

Are there pass-out privileges or re-entry allowed?

No, re-entry is not permitted once you have entered the festival grounds. Please ensure you have everything you need before entering, as exiting and re-entering will not be allowed.

What items are prohibited at the festival?

Please obey the law. Drugs are no more legal at a festival than in the outside world. Drug dealing and consumption will not be tolerated. Otherside has zero tolerance for legal highs.

  • No alcohol or liquids of any kind

  • No drugs including ‘legal highs’ or Nitrous Oxide.

  • No knives or weapons

  • No EPOS machines

  • No aerosols, sprays or pressurised containers permitted

  • No flag poles

  • No balloons

  • No clothing, garments or items which promote cultural appropriation

  • No glass

  • Compact umbrellas permitted, no large umbrellas

  • Admission is subject to search

  • No under 19’s

  • No food

  • No perfumes or aftershaves

  • No dogs

  • No flares or fireworks

  • No bikes

  • No drink of any kind [empty plastic refillable bottle are allowed – up to 500ml, no metal bottles, free water points are located across the festival site

  • No laser pens or pointers

  • No professional cameras, including professional camera equipment (e.g. camera stand, lenses, and selfie sticks)

  • No audio recording equipment, noise-making devices including speakers

  • No skateboards and rollerblades, hover-boards, scooters, bicycles, and other personal motorized and non-motorized vehicles

  • No unauthorized solicitation or marketing materials (e.g., handbills, flyers, stickers)

  • No drones or unmanned aerial systems

  • No unofficial tabards and reflective hi vis jackets

  • No rucksacks or large bags (small bags (that are not rucksacks) are allowed into the festival with the dimensions W21cm x H30CM x D8cm (A4 Size)).

  • No Selfie-Sticks

  • Filming and photography in the gate areas is not allowed.

By attending the festival you are consenting to a search on entry. 

If you arrive with any of the above prohibited items, the festival reserves the right to confiscate and dispose of said items, at their discretion. 

The management reserves the right to refuse entry to the event without refund and may hand you over to the authorities if deemed necessary, due to suspected illegal activity.

Festival wristbands remain the property of the festival and can be removed at any point. 

6. Is there a dress code? Will it be muddy?

While there is no strict dress code, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor conditions. Please be prepared for Ireland's variable weather by bringing waterproof clothing along with warm clothes. 

The ground at the event may become slippery and muddy in parts so we advise you to wear appropriate footwear.

7. Will there be facilities for individuals with disabilities?

Yes, the Otherside Music Festival is committed to being accessible to all. There will be designated viewing areas, accessible toilets, and assistance available on-site. For specific accessibility inquiries or to arrange accommodations, please contact otherside@bedlamevents.ie

8. How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased through our official website and authorized ticketing partners, Resident Advisor and Eventbrite. We advise against buying tickets from unauthorized sources, as they may be invalid and entry will be denied. 

We do have a number of official ticket reps. Please DM the instagram page or email us on otherside@bedlamevents.ie if you are purchasing tickets through reps to confirm validity. 

The festival will not take any responsibility for tickets that are purchased and deemed invalid. 

9. What should I do if I haven't received my ticket confirmation?

If you have not received your booking confirmation, please check your spam or junk email folders. If it's not there, contact our customer support team at the below emails for assistance.

10. Are there accommodations available near the festival site?

Yes, there are various accommodation options near the festival grounds, including hotels, hostels, and campsites. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred lodging. 

We also have some accommodation available on site and in Slane which is available by contacting otherside@bedlamevents.ie

11. What transportation options are available to and from the festival?

Official Shuttle Service (Best Option)

The official Shuttle Bus is the best way to travel to and from the event in order to get in and out of the festival in the shortest time. The service will operate between the festival site and the Connolly Station in Dublin’s City Centre.

Privately Booked Busses

Additionally, there is a small provision for private bus operators to come on site at the festival. If you are planning on arriving by private bus, you must fill out the form below and space is strictly limited:

Drop offs and pick ups can only take place in our designated location on the festival site. 

The Garda traffic corps along with members of the National Transport Authority will be in place on the road around the festival and any private busses that have not been approved by the festival via the link will not be allowed to drop off or collect passengers. 

All private bus operators must be on site for collections before 10.30pm

Attendees dropped off without authorisation will not be allowed entry to the festival.

Taxis & Car Drop Offs

We will have a provision for taxi and car drop offs at the event. You must have a valid ticket to be allowed into the drop off zone. Anyone dropping off on the road will be prevented from doing so and fines will be issued where necessary.

12. Is there a lost and found service?

Yes, lost and found services will be available on-site. If you lose an item during the festival, please visit the information point. After the festival, inquiries can be made via otherside@bedlamevents.ie

13. What medical and welfare facilities are available on-site?

Medical welfare facilities will be available in the festival grounds. If you require medical assistance, please locate the nearest staff member or visit the medical tent which is operated by EFAST Medical, a specialist fire and medical provider. 

There will also be roaming medical teams on site to respond to medical incidents. 

The medical and welfare teams are here to help, not to judge! Please use them if you are feeling off.

Psycare will be providing welfare support for those who need some time to reset, but not medical attention. A large team of volunteers will be on site and will make themselves known to attendees at the entrance to the event. 

14. Will there be cashless payments or do you accept cash on site?

All vendors including the bars will accept card payments. Most food vendors will have a facility to take cash in the event of a failure of the networks but the bars will be card only.

There will be a provision for cash payments in the VIP Bar area which is only available with a ticket upgrade.
